Dear Fellow MAP Grant Supporters:

Congratulations! I want to thank you all for your vital contributions in the effort to restore MAP Grant funding. Budget cuts in the Spring 2009 legislative session posed a great challenge for students across our state, as many faced the prospect of losing financial aid. Yet, the energy I witnessed on your campuses, from Chicago to Carbondale, Peoria to DeKalb, successfully inspired the General Assembly to respond. Senate Bill 1180 provides full funding for the MAP program, allowing both students and colleges to plan for the Spring 2010 semester.

Description: Students will rally and show their support for the MAP Grant.

Description: Gathering of Student Leaders from throughout the state to sign a petition and show support by representing the school of which you attend.
